Remote wellness scans may use hair, nail, or saliva samples from humans or animals. 1. Preparing Samples Hair: Snip ~1 tablespoon from nape of neck or mane (for animals). Place in labeled zip-lock bag. Nail Clippings: Trim several clean clippings from each hand (or paw/hoof). Saliva: Swab a small amount on cotton, allow to dry, then seal in plastic bag.
