The Herd

Little Joe
Little Joe is our wise buckskin Morgan and the natural leader of the herd. As alpha, he carries a deep sense of responsibility for everyone around him. Always attentive and concerned, he has a remarkable ability to sense your feelings—often knowing what you need even before you do. With an intuitive and compassionate nature, Little Joe mirrors emotions back to those who work with him, offering powerful insight and helping you gain a deeper understanding of yourself.

Lambert
The Humorous Wounded Healer Lambert’s early years were filled with challenges, but his journey has shaped him into a true healer. Because of what he’s endured, he deeply understands trauma and the path toward recovery. Gentle and sensitive by nature, Lambert carries a quiet strength. He offers compassion, empathy, and—when needed—a gentle nudge in the right direction. Many find comfort in his warm, understanding presence, and there’s nothing quite like the healing embrace of this remarkable equine therapist.

Envy
The Heart of the Herd Our sweet mare Envy passed in October of 2023, yet her spirit has never left this farm. She continues to watch over the herd, surrounding this place with love, protection, and acceptance. Her presence can be felt the moment you step onto the property—an unseen guide inviting you to open your heart, embrace healing, and live your best life. She remains the soul of our sanctuary, forever leading with grace from beyond.

Bella Marie
Director of Safety As a devoted German Shepherd, Bella takes her role of protector to heart. She is the first to greet everyone who arrives at the farm, staying watchful and alert to ensure that all feel safe and cared for. Bella shines as the self-appointed pool lifeguard and proudly takes the lead on nature walks. Beyond her physical vigilance, she also serves as a PTSD service dog, offering emotional and mental security with her gentle presence. Full of love, loyalty, and tenderness, Bella is the perfect balance of guardian and companion—always ready to watch over, guide, and comfort.

Jack
Director of Joy and Love Jack is our fluffy Golden Retriever whose smile and wagging tail can brighten anyone’s day. He’ll come running to greet you—usually with a ball in his mouth and joy in his heart. Known around the farm as our “Director of Joy and Love” Jack’s mission is simple: to help you rediscover your smile. He’ll offer you his ball, his bone, or even his favorite turtle toy, then look at you with soulful eyes, gently insisting on pets in the way only a Golden can. Jack won’t stop until he’s sure you understand just how special and loved you truly are. If you ever need a reminder that joy is real and love is unconditional, schedule some time with our Director of Joy and Love.

Daisy
The Boss Sweet Daisy may be the smallest member of the herd, but make no mistake—she runs the show. Ever watchful, she keeps everyone on track: monitoring the time we spend at the computer, inspecting cars as they arrive, and even making surprise appearances in the middle of group classes. With her soft and timely “mow, mow,” Daisy always reminds us of what truly needs our attention—and, to her credit, she’s always right. Being around flowers like Daisy is a gentle nudge to notice the beauty in life’s smallest details and to remember just how wonderful the world can be.

Elvis
The King Elvis came to us as a rescue, found after being thrown from a moving car — and yes, he truly “rocked and rolled” his way into our hearts. Now a proud tuxedo cat, Elvis uses his strong voice to remind us all to speak our truth. His resilience and confidence inspire us daily to stand tall and own our story.
